We received a letter saying that we need to pass new police clearance and nbi. So we passed it immediately last week. Can someone tell me how long are they going to review the documents again?

I believe it would take 60 days (as per letter NVC sent) to review every documents sent to NVC including checklists. Hope it would be less than the 60-day timeframe.

viin29aann may I know if you missed to submit those clearance/NBI or they just need new copies of those documents?

It's takes 60days for documents review but not sure if same applies to checklists. My suggestion is to call nvc operator and you will be sure getting a convincing response.

To be honest i don't know how long it takes nvc to review missing documents or checklist. These are question to be best answered by nvc. Your mum should ask them, then you let us know. I only call and ask questions that pertains to my case.

The checklist that I received (AOS) said to allow 30 business days for review, but I'm guessing the checklist templates haven't been updated with the now standard 60-day notice. My impression is that all incoming documents get the same treatment, regardless of whether they are original submissions or checklist responses. If anyone confirms one way or another with NVC, please share.

I just got off the phone with an NVC rep who confirmed that documents are not prioritized by whether they're original submissions or checklist responses, but only by date, . The good news is, she said our civil docs would be reviewed according to the date of receipt (8/12) as opposed to the date of DS-260 submission (9/4). I've heard from other reps that the DS-260 and docs are reviewed according to the later of the two dates though, so I'm going to take this with a grain of salt.
