I am doing a DCF in Bangkok for my wife who is Chinese. Since we are right now in China, my wife got her Police Certificate. She took her police report to the largest Notary Public in Yunnan (Kunming MingXin) to have translated to English and certified. They have a section specializing in foreign related documents including required GC documents. My wife told the notary public that she was applying for a GC in Thailand. When we got the white booklet back I noticed that the original police certificate was missing and in its place was their own document with my wife's photo. Their document attests that my wife did not have a criminal record up to the date of the original certificate but does nor reference the original police certificate number. The manager said under the law that they were required to keep the original report. She was quite adamant and kept repeating that all notary public follow the same procedure. She did make a copy of the original for me but it was not attached to the booklet. To be frank the police certificate printed at the police station is only a 1/2 page and doesn't look very official except for the red stamp but am still surprised they don't include it in the white booklet or reference its number.

I am concerned that Bangkok Immigration Visa will reject this booklet because it does not include the original certificate?

Can anyone share their experience?
