so we just moved, and we just went to get my permit... now i really don`t have time to search through here so, if someone doesn`t mind answering my question..

how do i inform dhs that i`ve moved because, the DMV is mailing in ####### to confirm that it`s me applying for my permit im assuming.. Should I just call DHS ?

Apply for your EAD and your AP when you send in the AOS petition - or if you have already sent it in, send in the EAD and AP petitions with a copy of your AOS NOA 1 (good grief - all those initials look like some sort of code :D ).

Even if you don't intend to work, the EAD/AP card acts as a form of government issued identification that will be useful for things like banking, buying liquor, using a credit card, etc. as well as verification that you are legally present in the US and are eligible for a Driver's License or a State Identification card.

There is no cost to apply for these benefits when you apply for your green card, so maximize your options. You will most likely receive the EAD/AP card well before your green card is approved and you will definitely find it useful in the meantime.
