People without proper documentation are not illegal. Unauthorized but not illegal. Carry on with all he other bizarre speculation that you enjoy so much though.

He simply said "illegals" - you are expanding the definition and then lambasting that definition as if he has used it - all he said was "illegals"

You should re-read. He said:

People who are in the US without documentation haven't broken any laws.

That is obviously not the case. Why do accuracy and truth mean so little to your group?

If you were interested in accuracy and truth you would not specifically label undocumented migrants as 'illegals'. Being without documents is not a criminal act, it's a civil misdemeanor. I am sure everyone is well aware why 'illegals' is tossed out there and why on a website dedicated to immigration it is an unhelpful label that lends itself to abuse. However, rather than agree that such a label is unhelpful you want to have some semantic argument. Are you going to start calling people who park illegally illegals? How about people who break speed limits? Jay walk? Ride a bike without a helmet? Everyone who has ever broken a law should be an illegal if that's your rationale for the use of illegal. Not very helpful, is it?

Of course, laws can be changed. Go right ahead and change them.

No need to change the law; it's already there (albeit unenforced by this preznit):

(a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts

Any alien who
(1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or
(2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or
(3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.

According to Fox it was more than a fart. It was just another chapter in the kenyan's evil plan to take over the free world.

Buy ammo. He'll be coming for your guns next.

Of course, I mean what else could it be.

Some people here seem to believe quite seriously that Obama is Hitler in shoe polish.

Try again. None of the offenses you have cited are criminal. They are civil misdemeanors. You've probably done worse than most of the people you call 'illlegals' but woe betide you actually admit that it's not helpful and that it's downright rude to call undocumented migrants 'illegals' on an immigration website.

The only one arguing whether it's criminal or civil is you. It really doesn't matter because both are illegal or against the law. It is illegal to enter the US without inspection.
