There's gotta be a damn good reason for them to just simply deny an I-30 petition! Someone wrote her husband falls under "the adam walsh " category...as far as I remember that is a law that was enstated, after the kidnaping, molesting and killing of a child named Adam Walsh in the 90-s? Am I correct? If indeed her husband is a child sex offender, then I am HAPPY he got denied, he deserves MUCH worse.

Jennybate - sorry to hear about that. I hope that your future will be successful regardless of their decision. I believe there is a way to reopen your case. Once he receives the letter in the mail, your husband can lawyer up and find a way, God willing.

Husakovic - Thanks for the info on the Adam Welsh Law and I totally agree with you. I sincerely hope for Jennybate's sake, that her husband is not a sex offender. Can you imagine that? what terrible way to find out bad news.

There are a variety of reasons people are put on child sex offender lists. It can be for peeing on a fence of an elementary school in the middle of the night or your worst nightmares when you think of a child molester. The law doesn't define the two as being any different. However I'm still glad the law exists and if I remember this case right, along with when her husband posted, this is exactly what should happen and has.
