Is there any place to determine which USCIS offices do same-day oath?

hi all,

This is for my fellow Dallas field office peops :-) My co-worker, who's obviously at the Dallas office, just got his interview date for March 30th and he happened to have his NOA letter at this desk and the NOA date was September 5th!!

So hopfully this means Dallas is now setting interview dates for September filers so AND WE ARE NEXT ????

Oct 23, 2014: NOA 1

Yellow letter date: October 27, 2014

Biometrics: November 7, 2014

In line for interview: November 10, 2014

Interview scheduled! (email notification): March 23, 2014

Interview letter received: March 25th

Interview: April 24th

In line for Oath: April 27th

Oath: June 23rd

I had my interview on Monday at the San Francisco office. Everybody that works there is super nice. I would recommend that you arrive earlier than you normally would because there's a line to get inside the building. The entrance process is very airporty, you gotta take your shoes off and go through an X-ray door frame. That line took so much of our time that I had barely sat down when they already called me in! Surprisingly we started with the civics test (Q: How many senators, the declaration of independence, who is in charge if the president and vice-president can't, how many justices on the supreme court, how many years senators work for, one branch of government) then we went through every question on my 400 form. My memory works in a way that I remember the phone numbers of my elementary school friends, but I don't remember the year when I moved to this house. I can also remember the names of the American Idol, Amazing Race and Survivor contestants, but I've no idea of how many times I left the country in the last 5 years. Other than those snafus everything else went great. The IO made "7 annotations" to my form (I want to think that's normal) and told me I was being recommended for approval and would hear from them sometime in the next 1 to 3 months. Hopefully I'll get the oath invitation soon :dancing:

More good news to my fellow Dallasites, I just saw that someone on this board in the September filers in Dallas also received an interview date of late March....Thats good news, September filers in Dallas are moving along!

Interview done today. officer said verbally that I passed however i indicted a traffic ticket on ny application and io cant make decision until i present copy of ticket either paid or dismissed. Issue is that ticket is still pending hearing in court till May 1st and io gave me till April 4th to present the document requested.

I don't know about your state, but in Texas you can go in early and pay the ticket. You only have to wait until the hearing date if you want to challenge the ticket. If this is possible, go in, pay your ticket and get the receipt to USCIS asap.

I don't know about your state, but in Texas you can go in early and pay the ticket. You only have to wait until the hearing date if you want to challenge the ticket. If this is possible, go in, pay your ticket and get the receipt to USCIS asap.

Hehe good point! I don't remember the date I got the mail but I'll put the notice date in the timeline

How long after their interview did your FIL and MIL get their oath letter. I see my interview was before theirs and I'm sill waiting for the letter (though I did get the text/email that it had been generated).

08/12/2010 => Day 00 => Package sent to Chicago lockbox

08/13/2010 => Day 01 => Package received and signed for in Chicago

08/23/2010 => Day 11 => Email and Text receipt notification

08/23/2010 => Day 11 => Cheques cashed - $1010 and $355

08/26/2010 => Day 14 => NOAs received in the mail

08/30/2010 => Day 18 => Received biometrics appointment letter (for 9/23)

09/03/2010 => Day 22 => Did walk-in biometrics

09/16/2010 => Day 35 => Received interview letter for 10/21

10/15/2010 => Day 64 => AP received

10/20/2010 => Day 69 => EAC received

10/21/2010 => Day 70 => AOS Interview, approved, I-551 stamp and card production ordered

10/30/2010 => Day 79 => Green card received
