I got the yellow letter in the mail today (dated 11/11/14) saying that USCIS recommends that I bring my driver's license and all passports, expired and current, to my interview.

05/01 - Married USC

06/01 - Filed I-130/I-485

01/03 - Conditional LPR approved

05/05 - Conditions removed

12/13 - Divorced USC

10/10/14 - Filed N-400 based on 5+yrs LPR

10/24/14 - NOA

11/12/14 - Fingerprinted

11/14/14 - In line e-notification

12/01/14 - E-notification of interview scheduled

12/05/14 - Received interview letter - Interview scheduled for January 8th.

01/08/15 - Passed citizenship interview and recommended for approval!

01/19/15 - In line for oath ceremony

I got the exact same thing :)

What it we can't find an expired passport? I entered on my passport which expired 2 years ago, and I applied for a new one, which I have. But I think my expired one is packed away somewhere in my boxes stored in NC....ughh... Is it really necessary to bring it? What if I can't find it ?

Hey guys.. im posting this on behalf of my husband. He mailed out the n-400 application on 31st october 2014. He also included the G-1145 Form. Its been 2 weeks now, we still have not received any email or text notification. Nothing in the mail box either. We are worried now as it usually takes less than a week. Did anyone else experience this tooo ?

Have you double checked the address that you were supposed to send it to?

He sent a Cashier's check. Last checked 3 days ago, it wasnt cashed out. Yes we have checked everything. All required docs were included, n400 was signed. Mailed it to the right address (phoenix lockbox) through UPS. The status shows that its delivered. G-1145 was clipped under the docs.. could that be the issue that they just thought its not there or something :S
Its quite frustrating at this point. The more we hoped it would happen fast, its actually too slow :( Hes suppose to file for me as soon as becomes a citizen.

I wondered about this as well. .. But would be interested .. My Yellow letter was pretty long as for some reason I didn't send our marriage certificate (again) and also his Birth Certificate.. Since I already sent this 3 times i figured they already had this and didn't find the instructions for this until after everything was mailed out... Guess its no biggie.. but here we go again grabbing all this paperwork together...

So they are asking my for all passports and drivers license, Marriage Certificate, my spouses U.S passport or birth certificate, copy if my speeding ticket fine ( I don't have that, just the receipt when I paid it.. so I will take that.. it was below $500 so I hope that will be fine)

You sent the packet via UPS to the lockbox address?? Uh oh....That could be the issue right there... USCIS states:

For Express Mail or courier deliveries, use the following address:

USCIS

Attn: N-400

1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S

Suite 100

Phoenix, AZ 85034

So you should not have sent it to the lockbox using UPS.

Maybe you should call USCIS and see if they have received it for sure?

But also, the G-1145 form should have placed on top of all other documents....

Hmmmm, I would try calling USCIS to find out what they do in this case, because surely there are other folks out there who have also accidentally sent to other address.

I would assume it would just result in a delay to get to USCIS. But it's also weird that UPS accepted your packet with that address, they would normally ask you if you were sure you wanted to courier it to a po box or reject it because they can't deliver to a po box.

Does it say who signed for it? Or where it was signed for?

And if you call USCIS and they can't help you over the phone, I would then suggest getting an infopass appointment (if you are close to the local office), though am not too sure if that would help coz local office can only do something once your case has been transferred there, at least I'm assuming so.

08/07/17... Paid the IV Fees for both my parents ($325 each) today

08/23/17... Called NVC because payment still showing "In Process", was advised to email proof of payment to have them manually correct it

08/24/17... CEAC website shows "Paid" and can now have parents' DS-260 forms filled in.

Thank you deidre. We shall call USCIS and find out about this. Hopefully they help :(
I just found this info on UPS website that if you discover that u sent ur package to wrong address then you have option to hold your package or deliver it to another address. I think we should contact UPS too if they can do that!
I really dont know why they accepted it. I feel so silly to have made that mistake !!! thanks to you for telling me! otherwise i would have been wondering still !!

05/21/2015: AOS & IV Package mailed to NVC *Fingers crossed*

06/09/2015: DS261 reviewed (found out by calling NVC)

06/14/2015: IV fee bill generated (received email) *cant pay - ceac portal having issues*

06/26/2015: Checklist received for not paying IV fee *waiting to pay online*

07/05/2015: IV fee paid finally website is fixed! *Showed as PAID 7/8/15*
07/08/2015: DS260 submitted

09/22/2015: Case completed finally (over the phone with NVC)
09/29/2015: CC confirmation email received

10/22/2015: Interview scheduled

Is it strange that I still haven't gotten a message saying that I'm "in line" yet? I got my fingerprints taken on 10/31, and I received a yellow letter telling me what to bring to the interview, but I haven't gotten anything saying I'm "in line." I'm starting to worry. Is that normal?
