CDJ: Electronic Processing or Mail Processing?

Hello,

I just received my case # & IIN today. The case # begins with CDJ. I checked the NVC's website to see if I am eligible for Electronic Processing and it seems that only MEP is eligible. However, when I check out the PDF for CDJ-Ciudad Juarez on NVC's page, I get a PDF that says:

You are processing through the Electronic Processing format all travelling applicants will be required to submit all original documentation at the time of your visa interview. Documentation shall contain all civil documents submitted electronically to the National Visa Center along with the required Affidavit of Support and any financial supporting documentation required.

Anyone else who has received a CDJ case #, can you let me know if we are Electronic Processing or do we mail in our AOS & IV packages? Thanks!!!!

I suggest you call NVC and talk with a supervisor, asking to be rehomed to the Electronic Processing Program,

then wait a week until you get a new casefile # starting with MEP.

It's possible that the CDJ # was issued in error, so ask the NVC Supervisor about it when you have them on the phone.

I'll call NVC to find out, thanks! Per your email, I'm understating that they do not issue CDJ numbers anymore? Only MEP?

TO ALL MEXICO FILERS:

I called NVC today and to my surprise, Ciudad Juarez consulate is no longer doing Electronic Processing. Jim from NVC stated that Juarez tried doing EP but it didn't work out and 6 months ago they went back to normal mailing in AOS/IV packages.

Just fyi in case anyone was wondering.
