Do you have a lease with both your names on it? Bring your apartment rental lease.

Explain when you received your Social Security card and how there has been very little time between receiving it and the date of the interview.

Do you have a car? Show that you are both on the same vehicle insurance if that's the case. Are you on the same health insurance? Do you have a shared cell phone plan?

Is your cousin the apartment/house owner or is he a renter? If he is the owner he could have you sign an official lease.

How about insurance together? Like health, renters, life or car? Any receipts with both of your names on it? How about letters sent to your address for the both of you? Does your spouse have 401k? Maybe he/she can list you as the primary beneficiary for his/her 401k. Travel itineraries. Cellphone bills? Utility bills? How about joint membership like Costco? Gather as much as you can!

So I don't understand. If you guys have basically nothing (besides the bank statement) then why you filed AOS so soon. You guys could have changed things, accumulate a couple more things and then file for AOS. Once someone is married to a USC their overstay is forgiven, so I don't see that as a point of rushing with your AOS. I don't know what else you could add that could improve your case, so I will just wish you the best!

You have a bank account together? If not, go ahead and add your spouse to your bank account or have you spouse add your name to theirs. Take the photos you have together and mail you've both had sent to the same address. We also had our interview in New York and that's pretty much all we had as well (we also had our internet and cable bills from the last 3 months). Our adjudicator just glanced at them and seemed to be more interested in finding out how we met and if I was comfortable with my wife being a funeral director.

You are NOW just realizing, 6 days prior to your interview, that you don't have enough evidence? Do you have wedding photos at least?

And just because you didn't have an SSN is NOT a valid excuse, as most places will allow the main person on the account to add names, or at least in care of, to the account.

Thank you for your time

do either of you have a job? more importantly, do either of you have the other person listed as an emergency contact?

who pays for the utilities anyway? like, do you have, for example, internet bills addressed to you and water bills addressed to your husband at the same address?
