I have been posting about how my husband had his interview for CR1 visa on Sept 4th and was turned away form the American embassy in Tunis Tunisia saying they didnt have our paper work from the NVC yet, and they would contact him once they received it. Well I got the senator office involved and they found the paper was accepted on Aug 14 and just wasnt entered into the computer... then the next day sept 11th after i found this out the CEAC site was showing our paperwork was there in the embassy and ready for interview .. but we havent been contacted. I have called emailed even the senators office and no contact. This was their over sight and seems to be more then just our case they are delaying in this way... what course of action do I have? I can obviously wait.... but I would like to have this interview appt made....

That's so frustrating Anna. They're hard to get a hold of especially when you don't know who to call. When you called the embassy did you get to speak to a live person? Cause sending emails didn't seem to help me much either. I think I had sent like 3 mails and no answer...then I started calling and being firm.Things started happening on our case when I got to speak to a live person and asked for an interview date. We got one within the week but that was too soon so we got another interview date.
