How many people have been killed here in Allah's name compared to Christians who killed people just because in the last 20 years?

Exactly Christians have no dogmatic ideology that drives them to commit mas beheading and blow stuff up

Did you even read the OP?

It's about two extremists with a dogmatic ideology who shot some cops and planned to attack a courthouse.

We never ask the question since it's not a Muslim. What about those numbers? You can even throw 9/11 in there if you need a boost.

People kill for all sorts of reasons. And it's a known facts more Americans have died at the hand of another Christian than a Muslim.

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

My oh my... It seems you're dealing with a flash memory issue - or lack thereof...

Anti-Abortion Violence: America's Forgotten Terrorism
September 4, 2012

In recent years, domestic extremists of various stripes have committed violent acts in the United States from murders to arsons to bombings. The perpetrators garnering the most attention, from both the media and the government, have been domestic Muslim extremists. Right-wing anti-government extremists and white supremacists have come in second. Attention has also been devoted to the violent acts of environmental and animal rights extremists.

The recent arrest in Green Bay, Wisconsin, of Francis Grady, 50, for allegedly setting off an incendiary device at a Planned Parenthood clinic serves to remind Americans of another form of domestic extremism: anti-abortion violence. Like environmental and animal rights violence, anti-abortion violence is a form of single-issue extremism. Typically, single-issue extremism emerges as an ultra-radical wing of a much broader social or political movement, a wing so agitated about its chosen cause that its adherents may come to believe that violence in the service of that cause is justified or even required.

Very true - you don't have to look too far to find Christian extremists.

Just another anti-Tea party smear campaign.

An op-ed article is pretty far from a 'campaign'.

If you don't think that Tea Party ideology is attractive to anti-government extremists - feel free to explain why.

From my own knowledge - I know that the tea party is an umbrella movement. That kind of suggests that noone really understands what it stands for - apart from being anti-government. I would suggest to you that this means different things to different people.

The fact that these killers advertised their crime with symbology associated with the Tea Party movement should tell you something.

They are savvy with the world of social media?

I used to like them too, when the movement first started. IMHO they brought so many nut jobs into their circle they are pretty much smearing themselves. It's mostly self-inflicted.

I like the Tea Party. I am not a member and have no interest in joining them.

They must be saying something right since so many liberal nut jobs can only resort to trying to smear them.

Their initial charter was interesting and an idea the entire nation could have embraced. Early on however, they attracted some dubious political personalities and some downright crazy people, who eventually highjacked the movement.

These days they have become the go to place for birthers, deniers, truthers, and those on the fringes of the political spectrum.

Having said that, not all Ts are certifiable but they are acquiescent to the madness in that allow their movement to be run by the inmates, without protest.

As I said its not an organised movement, it has no central leadership or real structure and no concrete principles. How anyone can say they know what it stands for or what sort of people it attracts...?
