You place one guy with a gun and a willingness to kill out in public on the run, and from the delirious fringes, you get folks trying to relate it to:

The tea party

Muslims

Racism

Terrorists

Anti government types

When in fact, all you REALLY have is... one guy who is crazy enough to kill. And while it will upset some of those same people, I say he should be hunted down, tried, and if found guilty, imprisoned and sentenced to death. One less crazy person with a gun, and his gun(s) can be sold to a law-abiding citizen to use them properly.

I think this sort of anti government, anti authority extremism is absolutely a byproduct of Tea Party ideology.

Its not just one guy either, there was the couple in Las Vegas who shot the police officers and planned to attack a courthouse.
