It is funny , and maybe meant to conflate the issues but the second part of the post is:

Top military official opens door to ground troops in ISIS fight, despite Obama pledge

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

Whadya mean "who else"? Where in that CNN do you see ANY mention of countries sending "boots on the ground"? None. Zero. Zip. Nada.

Some "coalition". Nice going, O'bama.

Where do you see a substantial commitment of ground troops against ISIS. Did you read the article?

"Of course, the enemy the president has boldly and unhesitatingly sent our troops to fight is the Ebola virus"

Of course it is meant to conflate the issue and it seems most everyone has hopped on the wagon.

There are none. Thank you for making my point, (although you certainly took the long way 'round).

Touche' your logic in impossible to argue against

It is quite easy to miss that which is not there in the first place, is it not?

You were making the point that the US is not sending any boots on the ground to combat ISIS either? It was sure easy to miss that point.

It's funny how a thread that is headlined "Obama orders boots on the ground" goes off on a tangent to talk about the campaign against ISIS. The boots on the ground and ISIS are two separate and totally unrelated issues. There's no ISIS where Obama ordered boots on the ground - with substantial bipartisan support from Congress, by the way. The boots that have been ordered on the ground are military engineers and medical personnel to help contain and combat the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

Not everyone agrees with you that it's not about ISIS, and that the approximately 3,400 boots already on the ground are just "advisers"...

I think we can agree..that Bill Kristol's article ( lending its title to this threads title) in the Weekly Standard is nice click bait..but refers to Ebola humanitarian aide.

I think we can also agree that we do not have 3,400 combat ready troops in Iraq today ( at least based on any source cited )

And you're still mixing the two completely unrelated stories in the OP. The "boots on the ground" that are the basis for the title of this threat are military engineers and medical personnel that are to be deployed in West Africa to help contain and combat the Ebola outbreak. You might want to take a look at a world map. You will find that West Africa is not anywhere in the vicinity of Iraq. So these boots on the ground are, in fact, totally and 100% unrelated to anything regarding ISIS. The link you provided does not refute what I am and have been saying in this thread.

No one has made that claim, now have they?
