Anyone here taking medication or any herbal supplement due to an enlarged prostrate?

Does taking it as a coincidental-preventive count?

If so, then I'm taking Nutrilite Concentrated F&V (contains high amounts of lycopene).

(coincidental-preventive: don't have enlarged prostate; supplement NOT prostate-specific like saw-palmetto; but news does indicate lycopene has protective effect).

hehehe...I know it's a bit personal to talk about it but there's a lot of OTC supplements out there and I was wondering if anyone had any results from using it.

I'll come out and say that 'yes' I've got an enlarged prostrate. My father, who is 79, has had the same problem since he was about 40 as well and has been taking medication for it for many years. He's in really good health - his arteries and heart are great.

EDIT: Seriously though, I know I've heard an ad about prostate health supplements on sports talk radio. Next time I hear it I'll pay attention and reply.

My doctor begins checking for signs of an enlarged prostate for men in their mid 30's. So my next physical will involve the dreaded "jelly fingers!" OUCH!!!
