Hello,

Since I am making a packet, I am wondering how to bind the whitebooks together with the rest of my forms I am submitting for my K-1 application. What did you guys do?

Thank you

We left our White Books intact.

Did you bind all of the forms in your application together? Or did you just stack them up and put them in an envelope? If you bound them, did you punch new holes in the white book?

Let them punch or rearrange however THEY want to, we just put everything in order, rubber banded together and put in an envelope. Keep it simple......

My feeling has always been simply - they can punch their own damn holes.

Seriously, any binding YOU attempt is liable to interfere with the binding that they do. And disassembling may just nullify the white book.

based on yer timeline -

I sincerely hope you actually put through photocopies of any white books,

as

originals not needed on I-129F submittal.

can tell us ? what did you do ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hello,

I sent the original white book. I clipped all my papers together with a paper clamp. We got three copies of each white book so no biggie. I sent the packet off yesterday!

OK. but when the instructions mention photocopies, what caused you to send off an original whitebook?

Thanks in advance for your answer - I won't be using it to ding you, but using it for future instructions.

I am think my logic was that the white book was a a replication of the original document so it was a sort of copy itself. It actually didn't cross my mind to send a photocopy of the white book but I guess I could have since the instructions say I can submit copies. Do you think it will matter?

Ok that is good news (for me!)

May I ask where your instructional piece is? Is it the K1 guide or is it something you are in the middle of working on? I didn't see the K1 guide mention how to handle the white books specifically, so i am wondering if there are China-specific instructions I missed out on somewhere.

Thanks buddy
