So i went to do the doctor's exam on september, and i did not got flu shots and i have no idea what the nurse filled for ''flu shots'' because she told me is confidential what is inside the sealed envelope even tho she told me i am ok and all is fine with me and she is very nice so i don't believe she was lying

But the big question is, since i did not got the flu shot and don't know what she filled in that space, what is going to happen if i send my application to USCIS in october/november?

Will i have to go and ask her what she put in the ''flu shot'' space? or there is no need to take it cause i did the exams in august and i am only filling in october but you only have to take flu shots if you do the exam in october?

please someone help I am confused now

The nurse/doctor make you put all the shots the papers say if not they don't fill them!

I got my medical exam in September too and I didn't get the flu shot either.

But they print me an exact copy of everything that was inside of the envelope for me to keep so I saw everything they wrote

Here's a blank I-693 - there is a spot for "not flu season" that they likely would have checked as the option. As long as your document is within a year old you are fine. But remember some folks get an interview waiver and while it's nice not to have an interview it can mean you hang and wait for months.

I'd prefer to have the medical done within days of submission that way I've maximized the time available to get a GC because if it expires before you get your GC you are possibly redoing it (and paying again).

Flu season is Oct. - Mar. You would not be required to get a flu shot in Sept. However, most civil surgeons provide a copy of the I-693 for you to keep. It is not a secret as to what your medical exam shows.

Thanks everyone a lot for the answers

So I dont have to worry with getting a flu shot cause what matters is if i did the medical exam during flu season, not if i am applying my green card during flu season right? Cause I am applying in october/november and when i filled i did not got flu shots

And after all seems like she should of had gave me a copy, and she will not (what kinda sucks but ok since she told me is all good and fine with me, what means she filled that i am in day with everything)

Is funny cause the nurse that did my exams is super friendly and even helped me out with getting free birth control pills, but she says she cant give me a copy cause is ''confidential'' only for USCIS to open and see....

I am only not that worried cause she told me I am all ok and fine several times

Not flu season yet. I think there's an option on there for that.
