Letters have already gone out to my Congressman and Senator. From other posts and questions I've had answered my Pennsylvania representatives seem to be actually helpful in this process. Fiance and I will hit 5 months on December 8. The letters should get to them roughly around the same time. I didn't whine, but I stated my case about the discrepancy between processing times and my fear that USCIS will not hold up it's end of the "5 month processing time" bargain.

Hopefully December is our month!

Hopefully you wont need it but sounds like a good plan.

I think we would be looking at doing a similar thing... (a few weeks after).

Lets hope it doesn't come to that and you hear something within the coming week.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Hello guys! Is anyone still getting the error message on the website? Or am I the only person?

134 days and counting...

I still get error message every time I check my status. Just login to your account and check it that way. That's the only way I found to do it on the USCIS website.

When I Login to my account I still don't see status. It only shows "my".

Another July filer here stuck in all the mountains of petitions at the TSC. It's pathetic how long this process takes for us unlucky enough to be assigned to this place. I found out I was pregnant right after we filed our petition, baby due in March. As each day goes by the fear that my fiance won't be here before the baby is born turns more and more into reality. I hope something turns around soon and they start zipping through and approving them at warp speed, but sadly I'm not holding my breath.

You should ask to be expedited! We are pressing forward - beneficiary has sent away for updated passport, medical is tomorrow and police cert will be requested as soon as the passport is back. Gotta keep busy.

Nope - but since we know we need them and they're good for 6mos. (police) and 12 (medical) we want to be ready to go when NOA 2 comes.

I never thought about doing that.. I guess there's no reason why you can't with a 12mth validity on the medical. So that would just leave the interview.

I thought about that and checked into it, but apparently pregnancy isn't a reason for an expedite. Hopefully they are getting close to an approval, but I'm scared mine is lost in a pile somewhere never to be found. I am very happy for the people getting their approvals, but my nightmare is my case will be one of the ones setting for seven or eight months and still no word :(

I have maybe a dumb question, but I see some people have a line for "alien registration number changed" What is that? I saw a place in some of the paperwork asking for an alien registration number, but I don't think my fiance has one of those? I hope not because we left it blank. Is that something different for certain people?

Also, I see some people getting an NOA2 after having an error code for a while after they try to check their status. Even after the newly updated website, I can log in and it will tell me the date they received my packet and that's all it ever says. I have never seen this "error code" people are talking about. Is that an error when you try to log in or just put in the receipt number and ask to check your status? I'm curious about that as well.

ARN is issued by USCIS or if your fiance had one before it would be changed with this submission - most likely you should have left it blank, as you indicated you did.

Have you called the 1-800-375-5283 and listened to your status? I was seeing the old "your petition has been accepted..." status online but on the phone recording it had ARN changed 11/3/2014.

You won't get your ARN sent to you until NOA2.

The error code is what we receive when some of us enter their SRC receipt number.

Hope this answers your questions.
