This is ridiculous. I don't care what reasoning some people come up with- you cannot justify the discrepancy between these two service centers. 13 weeks vs. 6 months? And yes, there are absolutely things you can do to be proactive. Regardless of whether you're still within that "5 month" bracket- if people are getting processed in 13 weeks based solely on where they live in the states- that is not acceptable. So whether you think I can win this battle or not, you better believe I'm going to do what I can in the meantime. Not only for myself, but for others who have been waiting 6-7 months for an approval.

If by divine intervention we get approved before December then our loved ones could be here for Christmas but if it is approved in December then I am looking forward to January cos government employees dont play with holidays and vacations. .

That sums it up. I have nothing to add to that post.

(Amended your reference to 'weeks' as per your follow-up post)

As an aside, I note there are far too many happy emoticons to choose from on this forum during the waiting period. We need a TSC selection ...

People, if the person you contacted was rude follow your rep or senator and tweeter and "call them out" .regardless of how "non - emergency" it might be, you deserve to be treated with RESPECT especially by these elected officials and their employees.

Hey! So I am kinda confused as to what the estimated time means. When I originally saw that it said Feb. 2nd for us does that mean when our significant other will have their visa in hand? or does that mean that is when the center will finally get around to our packet and process it for the NOA2?

Also, I keep seeing the

Processing Dates

for Common Forms:
uscis_estimates.gif

which makes me think that ppl with June 20th NOA1 are being processes right now at the TSC? ?? Does this make sense to anyone else?

When they finally get around to looking at your application for NOA2 processing. There are still a few months of the journey to follow after this.

Yes, you are reading this correctly. However, it should be noted that they do not necessarily appear to process the applications in the order in which they were received. Some are expedites and there are also approvals recorded on Visa Journey which fall under TSC, but had actually been transferred and processed by CSC, which makes it difficult to accurately interpret the information.

The wait is so long, I just want our approval!! I get frustrated as the rest of my July filer friends on here. We have to do what is necessary to get things moving at TSC. I pray we all have good news next week and see more movement and more cases approved. I want to go see my fiancé the end of Dec, but I have to wait for the approval, NVC # and for our case to be sent to the Embassy, once there we can plan. It's just a shame of how things are processed at USCIS.

I spoke to a friend who was approved many years ago and he said from the start to the end it was three months with visa in hand. Why can't it be that way now????????

Hey everyone, how are yall doing?

Just checking in to see if there are any updates for anyone. Tomorroe marks four months from our NOA1 and my fiancé and I are together until Dec 17th..... It would be amazing to hear something soon so we can celebrate together, then when he goes back to England we can get the ball rolling with the medicial and the interview going into the new year.

I hope everyone's holding up okay, I know this is a hard and extremely (unfortunately) long process for us at TSC but it'll all be worth it in the end. There will be a light at the end of the tunnel ladies and gents, we just have to keep pushing forward!!!

So TSC sent all April and May petitions to CSC in August. Since then they haven't processed any cases???? because June filers are also not reporting any progress. It scares me. Have they stopped processing K1 petitions???? If no then at this speed when would it be our turn???

The USCIS website still says 5.9 months for approval, which is ridiculous, but it seems that it's taking even longer than that. No word on my case at all. Makes you wonder what the heck they are doing!!!

I think all of us July filers are very concerned and frustrated by how slow TSC is. I wonder if it was their loved ones how fast would the petition be processed???? Anxiously waiting for approval!!! I wanted to spend Christmas with my honey, but it doesn't look like that will happen at all. It's sad!!
