5 months and 2 days..... I think I'm going to reach out to my local Gov't to try and help... My fiance leaves on the 18th and I want so badly for us to hear something while we are together.... :( feeling so discouraged

I have kept the hope and optimism alive throughout this process but this morning I was so depressed that getting out of bed and starting my day was a struggle. With crisis like this I hope we get some help from somewhere! So helps us God!

5 months and 2 days..... I think I'm going to reach out to my local Gov't to try and help... My fiance leaves on the 18th and I want so badly for us to hear something while we are together.... :( feeling so discouraged

I know the feeling. Initially I was hoping to be in the process of getting ready for interview now. Then it was: it would be so nice if we got our NOA2 when my fiance is here so we are together. Now I have accepted that we won't hear anything until earliest January.

I reached out to my congressman office. Very helpful and promised me to follow up with it. Took all info they need and waiver form signed.

Hoping for miracle

I got my wavier form my Senators office yesterday....mailing them asap!!! I pray they can help.

Good luck and hopefully you will hear something soon.

Just got an email about 30 mins ago pretty much telling us that our case is still in initial review. I logged in on the USCIS website and saw that our last updated date is today!! We were super disappointed that it wasn't our approval, but at least someone is looking at it. I'm glad that something is happening... We can only hope that our approval is coming shortly!!! Stay encouraged guys!!


BTW our NOA1 was July 16th :)

i got this today does anyone know what it means? I called USCIS yesterday because it has not let me in the system to review my status because they had system problems.. HELLPPP!

I got the very same message just a little bit ago... Confused about what it means. We had our ARN already and now back to received...

yes i kind of liked the older version better this really doesnt help much.. i got really excited but then again who knows what it means....
