No but on the Bright side it feels like there has been more approvals lately among members here, or at least among people somewhat active on the forum. There were about 4-5 people getting approved two days ago for example.

That is true. I would much rather be able to see approvals on here than not. At least we know there is some movement for somebody. Our petitions are bound to be in someone's stack on someone's desk hopefully!

Sure looks like this week it's been very early June filers that are getting approvals, not like they are working on July yet :(

Well a 16th of June approval seems like promising progress since I at least would call that the middle of June. But yeah, I am thinking more a January approval. Just a month later than my first estimation. Could have been worse....

Well I don't think it will be that much longer now, probably January. If we have waited this awfully long, we can wait a bit longer! We can do it! ;) This time next year we will be busy planning Christmas with our loved ones :)

It definitely could be worse. I would much rather be seeing June approvals rather than April or May. It's my March 22nd due date for the baby that is looming ever so closer, but it's looking like he will just have to come for a visit when she's born and go back to Canada until we can finish this thing up.

I would bet he would be here in time - I really hope he is.

Thank you! He is coming for Christmas and will be here for a few weeks, and we are planning for him to come back some time in March. We shall see if the TSC decides to hand out any Christmas miracles! Even if we were lucky enough to get a December approval, that's only half the hurdle and I understand it's a few more months after that for all the stuff on his end so it's probably going to be later than March. BUT we've waited this long and survived so I'm sure just a little bit longer will be ok.

Around the time I first joined VJ I remember reading someone's observation that once the preceding month got to 50% completed cases they would start to hear decisions regarding the next month's cases. I know Igor's List isn't very accurate, for reasons discussed over and over, but I thought I'd pass it along to add to our optimism for hearing something soon, since June is very near the 50% mark!

A few weeks ago my fiancé wrote to his congressman about TSC backlog, CSC approving cases in weeks, check case status online down etc. At first time he answered saying he would give us a report in about 30 days. Today we got a quick e-mail saying basically this:

"Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that USCIS has confirmed that they are looking into your inquiry, which is held at the Texas Service Center of USCIS.

As soon as I hear anything I will let you know right away.

Thank you,"

I don't know if this would help us get approved soon but is good to know they're "looking into" our case.
