ARN is issued by USCIS or if your fiance had one before it would be changed with this submission - most likely you should have left it blank, as you indicated you did.

Have you called the 1-800-375-5283 and listened to your status? I was seeing the old "your petition has been accepted..." status online but on the phone recording it had ARN changed 11/3/2014.

You won't get your ARN sent to you until NOA2.

The error code is what we receive when some of us enter their SRC receipt number.

Hope this answers your questions.

Thank you so much! I actually haven't tried calling the phone number, but I sure will now. I just assumed that until I actually hit the five month mark, which won't be for a couple of more weeks, calling would be a wasted effort.

I have maybe a dumb question, but I see some people have a line for "alien registration number changed" What is that? I saw a place in some of the paperwork asking for an alien registration number, but I don't think my fiance has one of those? I hope not because we left it blank. Is that something different for certain people?

Also, I see some people getting an NOA2 after having an error code for a while after they try to check their status. Even after the newly updated website, I can log in and it will tell me the date they received my packet and that's all it ever says. I have never seen this "error code" people are talking about. Is that an error when you try to log in or just put in the receipt number and ask to check your status? I'm curious about that as well.

ARN change may not apply to you if you never had an A number. I, for example have an A number that I included in the petition and USCIS assigns that to the case initially. When they assigned my fiancée an A number the status changed to ARN changed.

Validation error is what we are seeing when we check by receipt number. When I login, I only see word "my" and no status.

I did call the number and the automated system just says we received your case on July 18th and we notified you by mail. I didn't even try to speak to a live person, because I'm sure until the 18th of December it's technically not been five months yet. Of course the automated system started by talking about the new initiative the President is putting in place but the application time for that hasn't started yet. Lord help us if we get pushed behind all those people after waiting five months in line already. I don't care too much for line jumpers!! lol

Nope - but since we know we need them and they're good for 6mos. (police) and 12 (medical) we want to be ready to go when NOA 2 comes.

Will your medical allow you to have it done without the NOA2 or an NVC case number? I know my fiance's medical with Knightsbridge in London won't allow him to schedule a medical exam for the K-1 until he has his NOA2 in hand to show them and an NVC case number. Just don't pay to do it all over again.

Called to ask about requesting inquiry and told that ' the TSC processing time frame has to be after my application time to request inquiry'. I don't know when they will update themselves to July. That's too long. Do you know if I can just submit online case inquiry??

Thanks for thinking of us - this is expensive enough of a process.

Yes, they actually encouraged us to come in now - they only have a certain number of these appointments per month. We will collect it when we go to the embassy for the interview - they're quite near each other. Police cert. takes 2-3 weeks so we are getting that started as well.

I emailed my Senator last week and this evening I got a call from his office. In the email I asked for his assistance in finding out information about my I-129F. I also discussed the extremely long waiting time frame at the TSC. His office is sending me a form to put all our immigration information as well as my signature so they can contact USCIS.

I was told by "Kim" (staff member of the Senator's) she will be more than happy to assist me in any way possible. I was floored by the positive response I received!! It's a start to finding out something about my case. I can only pray for the best. I just want my approval as all of my July filers do on here!!

Lucky! That is one less thing to have to worry about waiting for. Knightsbridge - other than being stuffy and expensive - seems a bit particular. Might see if Luke can give it another go though.. would be nice to feel like we are progressing even if Texas isn't ;)

Yes, it's funny how little things can make you feel there is some movement. We are all going to get there eventually. . . I feel the "eventually" should be now - and it's surely well passed "now" for others. Good luck to everyone.

No but on the Bright side it feels like there has been more approvals lately among members here, or at least among people somewhat active on the forum. There were about 4-5 people getting approved two days ago for example.
