Calculating household size

I just filed a petition for my fiancé and her minor son. I realize this means my household size for affidavit of support purposes is 3.

However, I have a past affidavit of support for my ex which is still likely in effect (she would not be a US citizen by now).

I'm curious what household size the interviewer will use to determine the income requirements on the new affidavit. Given my self employment at the current time, I'm likely to use an asset based approach, and want to make sure I'm covered.

If you have a past affidavit of support in effect, your ex will be counted in your household size. Unless you have evidence that this affidavit is no longer in effect, you can expect that it is and will be counted in your household size.

Thanks for confirming Zedayn, that's what I expected, and frankly it was the assumption I was going to go with anyway just to be safe.
