Hi!!

My case number is really low (EU under 5 000) of course for DV2015, I filled my DS260 at the end of May and I still don't have any notification too. :( I've write an e-mail to KCC about 3 weeks ago and they said me: "Your case number is now current for interview processing". I don't know what I should think about that, but we can only wait. ;)

Have you guys checked the website where you got your selection letters?

Gamimo, that means you will be scheduled in the next round.

Aj421, interviews take place usually throughout a month but they only do scheduling once a month, so if you miss the scheduling round you have to wait for the next one.

I just called KCC, and I finally got a normal person on the line. She was really friendly and didn't give 'pre-fabricated' answers.

She told me there is indeed a little delay, but there is nothing to worry about. Of course the DS260 submission in May was a little late (normal submission starts at the start of May), and now sometimes it takes up to 12 weeks (so about 3 months) for them to process the DS260.
They process them as they come in! So in that order.

She assured me people that are current have NOTHING to worry about, and they will get the second notification when your DS260 is processed, but because of the big backlog, this takes a while. You will probably have your interview in a later month as well....

I got my interview scheduled, but I have a fairly low case number and I had rushed to submit my DS-260. I think I submitted it a couple days after it was available. If you are current this early, you have nothing to worry about and will soon get notified.

Thank you very much for the update, I think processing them as they come in in order is what made the delay for those who have small numbers, because many people with height numbers submit the form early too.

Just to correct here the earliest you could submit DS260 this year was 19th of May, so not exactly start of May. But good to hear you got response.

That's what I mean. Normally you are able to submit at the start of May. This year it is delayed to the 19th.

Why they take such a long time....50000 or so applications on a new system which only allowed submission from three weeks later than before...
