No, I have yet to see her. I am currently working now.

Wire fraud- She knowningly accepted money under false pretenses. She knowningly knew what she was doing and that her intentions were to defraud. Plus I could establish a pattern since I saved over 12000 pages of IM's which helped prove a fraud was committed.

I researched the laws in my state and found that since the money was originated from my state to her via wire transfers and other transfers I could file a petition in my state for said fraud since the statue of limitations was 5 years. Being that she is in the united states it has made it easier to take legal action verses her being in her country.

Any news on the interview?

I'm guessing but the three-hour questioning may have been to allow your a beneficiary to admit abuse since so often it goes unreported. Based on what your wife's friend's description, it sounds like she was honest and said there was no abuse.

Just to be clear, was your wife denied the RoC? Are beneficiaries able to apply for RoC after a divorce?

I do not know since I have yet to hear from her. My understanding is if they placed her in removal status then no because the divorce would have happened after the decision. The divorce will be in a few months so a decision will be made before that. I will check the website in a few days to see what her status is.

Qtime: while I understand that you feel bad and all that, but you need to man up! Really! I mean, she cannot use anyone, even if she meant to have a better life for her kids. It just doesn't work that way. It's almost like taking a job offer at a restaurant and stealing plates, and food, saying you just want to have a better conditions to your kids at home. Every relationship is mutual...between partners, between spouses, between empoyer/employee. In all cases! Trust needed in all, and no one will let you work in their restaurants if they can't trust you because you're stealing. They will never trust you, and you cannot beg the same restaurant to rehire you from which you stole from. Same here. You married a lady you loved, and thought she loved you for who you are. You provided the best, and accepted her kids (which I think is big- lot of people have a hard time swallowing that!). And while it's nobel that she wants the best for her kids, she cannot use anything, or anyone like that. So don't feel bad! And move out so she cannot file VAWA down the road that you abused her in any way. With friends like hers, you don't know what they will feed her. She was honest now, but she may change that once she realizes that lying is the only way she can remain in the US. Don't take it at heart, please!

All the best!

My day is kind of sad, for one you think you know the person ie 9 plus years. You provide for that individual faithfully over that same time span then you find out it was all for nothing. No bitterness, no hatred just sadness for her daughters. I truly believe she had her kids at heart but she went about it the wrong way. When I tried to put her on the right track she just never got it and I ended up where I am now.

I spoke to her friend who called me. He friend said she doesn't understand why they asked her so many questions. Apparently the interview lasted 3 hours. She told her friend she did not understand why they asked her if they thought she felt threatening, if i had ever assaulted her, if I had ever caused harmed to her girls. She told her friend she said no to all the questions because I have always been very nice to them and took care of them. She said they asked her why she came to the United States and again she stated was to give her kids a better life.

Her heart was for them and not me and now the kids are the ones that end up getting the short end of the stick. They were uprooted, brought to a new country and had to adjust and now they will have to return. So, this makes it a very sad day for me. One would think I would be jumping up and down with joy but there is no joy in what I had to do. You only can take so much...

Her friend said that she cried most of the night not for herself but for her kids for she just wanted them to have a better life.

I thought I would be delighted with the out come but I am not. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

scamming someone is just for one reason,it's be cause the person has the moral compass broken.Do not find excuses for her using you.Millions of kids live in Philippines and not all mothers decided to scammer an U.S. CItizen to give a better life to their kids it's not about love for her kids,it's about her immoral values.

Exactly - bringing kids to US - contrary to popular belief - isn't only way to give them a better life. There are kids all over the world that have good life and are happy and it's up to their parent to ensure that.

Bringing them here by scamming you and now having to go back was her way to make sure they do not have a good life.

Good example of there are no winners when this kind of stuff happens. Its a shame someone pretended to love you in order to get to the USA for her kids. At least she didn't attempt to go the faked VAWA route, so I don't think she's a bad person. But her moral compass in broken in some ways when she didn't even try to make a valid marriage. I hope one day you can find what you're looking for.

She may just fall into a job somewhere, and the kids will get a free education, food, etc and she will just become another Illegal Alien in the USA.
