I am completing the DS-260 which calls for details of my last 5 visits to the US. I am currently studying in the US on an F1 visa and left on a very short trip recently. i assume that my last entry on returning from the trip counts as a visit. If i include it I need to stipulate the length of stay, which would imply that I subsequently left. As I am still in the US and will be for some time as I continue my studies, I'm not sure what I should enter on the DS-260. Do I include the current "visit" and if so how do I treat with the "length of stay"? Or does "last 5 visits" mean previous to the current on-going visit? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's open to interpretation. In your case, since you are already in the US, they might want the last 5 visits BEFORE your F1 visa ever started. What you are on now is not technically a visit.

But if you want to include your current stay as a vist, then I can't remember how much space they allow for the "days" edit box on the form. If there is enough room, you can put "indefinite" for the length of stay.

I recall you had a dropdown menu of days/weeks etc, you couldnt put indefinitely in there anyway. Minor details anyway I am sure, you could as well visit USA during the process and that doesnt mean you have to reopen the ds260 just to insert your vacation details.
