No, but I will grant you that there is an issue with the borders - all of them - not only the one with Mexico. The issue is that our immigration laws are severely broken, which makes the border attractive and more porous.

Your run of the mill, Hispanic looking, destitute person has become the poster child for illegal immigration, meanwhile there are many others, who abuse our system just as much, by getting in the country through airports, seaports or through the northern border just to have their progeny delivered at the expense of the American tax payer, or just to change their status to something else from a tourist visa or VWP.

We make the border attractive which in turn makes it porous.

I would welcome the notion that we erect a legal fence before we spend money we don't have to build one just as porous as the current one.
