Hi guys,

I am getting ready to file our I-129 and I have read people talking about different service centers, and that you are supposed to file either in TX, CA, or VT, depending on where you live.

But when I look at the USCIS website, it says there is only one filing location and it is in Texas. See the link. Is this true? I live in NY, and I want to make sure I mail the petition to the correct location.

Thank you!

All petitions are going to Dallas, Texas, and USCIS will determined which service center is going to process the petition based on state jurisdiction.

You need to send it to that address from the USCIS website. All of the petitions go to the same address and than they forward them to the service center that serves your state. If you live in New York it is going to be Texas Service Center.
