The whole idea of having a paramilitary militant wing is precisely to move the people who want to succeed but don't want to bleed to have their hands forced into doing just that. All this talk of assassination lists as if that's the main purpose of the exercise...

Man, I dunno, really.

if there were 50 people on a list, and all 50 were killed within a 2 hour period, the landscape changes.

as to a war, well, that remains to be seen. I'm not naïve about it, only thinking that most southerners would not pitch in and join up in the new Southern Army, at all. At least, not enough to make a battalion-strength OP-FOR.

Maybe underlying all this, is a cadre of folk in the USA Army, in depot, supply, REMFs types, along with the ground pounders, radar men, heli pilots, who WILL defect to the South and take all of the gear with them. IMO, IIF that happens, then ya, maybe there's a war. I can't see that happening like it did for the War Against the Northern Aggression. The schism at The Point and Canoe U was done in a gentlemanly-like fashion - I don't see that happening again.
