After years of rhetoric threatening violence, the neo-Confederate League of the South (LOS) is training a uniformed, paramilitary unit tasked with advancing a second southern secession by any means necessary, Hatewatch has learned.

...

The LOS secret unit has been dubbed “The Indomitables”.

...

Michael Hill, in a note offered to encourage his Indomitables, said, “We desire that our women and children be warm and snug while the world outside rages. And as our due for that we must face the world.”

The Indomitables were conceptualized at the LOS national meeting earlier this year and appear to be coming online quickly, with Floyd Eric Meadows, 43, of Rome, Ga., who also goes by Eric Thorvaldsson online, in charge of “training,”according to sources within the group and internal documents.

...

In an essay published last month on the LOS website, Hill argued that the Second Amendment extends to “weapons systems,” touted guerrilla warfare applications and listed “primary targets”as the fight for a second secession continues.

“The primary targets will not be enemy soldiers; instead, they will be political leaders, members of the hostile media, cultural icons, bureaucrats, and other of the managerial elite without whom the engines of tyranny don’t run,”Hill wrote.

So, no domestic terror groups that the US should be worrying about ahead of ISIS then? Good to know. This second amendment thing will result in civil war one way or another.

Yeah, a civil war with small arms, no artillery, no air support, no armor, no ships against the us govt should go well.

They had all of that stuff and home field advantage. I also, based on what my dad has to say, think an all volunteer army makes a huge difference. Our post draft military is much better than before. Not that I want another Vietnam war, but I wonder what the result would be today you know? A lot harder to hide from drones, satellites, and infrared imaging, even in the jungle.

Yeah, Vietnam.. that was pleasant.

I'm not saying it's ideal. I'm just saying there's plenty of examples of under-equipped fighting forces winning against far superior forces. Vietnam and Afghanistan with the Russians come to mind.

True, but if the citizens don't want you there, it makes things difficult for any Army. I don't care how much technology you have. Granted the kill ratio maybe 50-1, but that doesn't always guarantee victory.
