Hi my wife filed a petition for me (F2A) while she was a permanent resident with priority date of June 18,2014..Next year Feb 2015 she will file for her citizenship..my question is after she become US citizen..what will happen to my petition?will i still wait for visa priority to be current or what?please share your thoughts here..i'm just confused..thanks in advance!

She should upgrade her petition to an immediate relative petition. This can usually be done by making an Infopass appointment at your nearest local office and taking her naturalisation certificate, together with a copy of the I-130 NOA receipt.

Okay..and then what happen to my priority date?still the same?i will still wait for my priority date to become current?

There will be no change to your priority date, but since immediate relatives of a US citizen always have a visa number available then as soon as the I-130 is approved you will move forward to the NVC stage, and then the embassy, seeking an IR-1 or CR-1 visa.
