Hi Vj family

1-Does the Embassy retain any original documents?

2-I am planning on taking only the I-134 original, and that should be fine right?

3-As for pictures, I am thinking of taking color print out on word document .

That will depend on your Consulate. Some state clearly that no originals will be returned. Mumbai does not seem to state anything about this in their instructions > http://photos.state.gov/libraries/mumbai/395145/pereirals/K1-appointment-instructions-December2013.pdf

Only the I-134 needs to be original. The supporting documents are copies. Copies of photos as proof of relationship are also acceptable.
