My god it is making me crazy!

We were transferred from Texas on 8/11.

I check the USCIS "My Case Status" maybe 50 times a day also reading Igor's list.

I noticed all the numbers up to mine we approved yesterday (friday), stopped at mine though. What rotten luck!

I was thinking they process them in order from the receipt number SRCXXXXXXXX7 SRCXXXXXXXXX8, etc... I think so many things, but all seem to be wrong. I want to laugh, want to cry, it is so silly.

I know I should stop checking it, go for a walk, wait and good things will come, easy to say, so hard to do haha

Yes it is so difficult especially when ur so close! Keeping busy helps if u can keep ur mind off it for awhile. Some days I'm so busy with work and everything I am able to do that. Some days I'm so not so good. I've realized to just take one day at a time and all this will be behind us at some point.

The accuracy of igor's list and the processing times is very questionable so try not to get too hung up on it. Best of luck! I'm sure U'll hear something soon!

I checked often in the beginning but that got pretty boring when no changes were made for many weeks. So I stopped.

It's kind of like microwaving something and watching it second by second, which makes 2 minutes feel very long.

But when I walk away from the microwave, it makes the 2 minutes go by really quick.

So sometimes, it's better to just walk away for awhile.

Sorry to see you missed the plane in Beijing, but so happy to see you approved and will be here soon. My biggest hope is that she is here for my birthday 12/16 or Christmas. Worst case she'll be here for her birthday 2/2 or Valentines day.

She will be arriving in just 2 hours. After this posting, I will take a quick shower and head to the airport.

I was google-ing about China flight delays, and I guess its considered one of the less reliable airports

in terms of on-time departure/arrival, particularly on domestic flights (vs. international flights).

Based on my observation, here is my guesstimate on your fiancee's POE:

By 12/16 - Less than 20% chance

By 2/2 or 2/14 - 80% chance
