NVC Checklist Review - Bad attorney

I am a noob in this forum so I apologize for any mistake on posting the topic in the wrong part.

I have a question, but first I will tell in a nutshell my story. Today is exactly 1 year (365 days) we started the process sending a I-130 to NBC and so on.... The process was running smooth until we faced a stupid mistake made by the attorney we hired to help us thru the process. He simply paid the NVC IV fee with the wrong invoice number. Don't ask me how and why coz I have no idea!! After 1 month delay he paid it in the right way.

The time passed and after exactly 30 business days we receive a Checklist from NVC saying that the attorney simply forgot to send the original of our marriage certificate, and also he send forgot to send all the pages of the i-864. Seriously????? O-K-A-Y! How can someone simply send 8 pages of a 9 pages file?!?!?! It was all a complete absurd, and I don't recommend anyone to hire this attorney never ever!!

Anyway, the question I have is this: I submitted the checklist documents and NVC received it on August 4th. And they emailed us saying that it may take 60 days, not 30 business days anymore. What I am concern about is that I saw here in the forum some users that had checklist documents mailed to NVC at the same date as mine and they already got their cases completed. Is there anyone here that had te same experience as me that can tell me if they just take the all 60 days (or 30 business days) if the file is not complete??? I will kill myself if oct 4th comes and i receive a Checklist instead of a Case Complete note.

First I feel bad on your disappointed honestly we cannot expect lesser day's or so definitely 30 days is true but if its took 60 days or so I would say could be come into that, is like your in the first one in line fifty of you but it happen you forgot to sign up your name in the main door entrance otherwise they won't help, you. What you will, think is gonna happen

Of course you, go back in line from the beginning. So it took another time or, more than, that to, be specific

Everything is currently taking 60 days. It's calendar days vs business days (so really only an increase of 15 days total, but 2 weeks feels like a lifetime at this stage.)

yours and my story is very same. After getting out of this mess I would like to add one more forum, which will indicate the picture and name of bad attorney. So other people won't come in trap of such idiots. I am sorry what has happened to you.
