Hi all,

Because you've all been super helpful with my other queries, hoping someone can help with this.

  • I had notification that the London embassy received my approved petition. I have now just received an envelope in the post with a copy of my fiances approved I-129F and a pamphlet on "information on the legal rights available to immigrant victims of domestic violence in the US and facts about immigrating on a marriage based visa".Is this "package 3"?
  • Also, the link that I am guided to in this letter states the following under Step 2; "Assemble all of the documents required in support of your application. When you have obtained all of the required documents and are prepared for the visa interview, you are required to email the Notification of Applicant(s) Readiness form to the Immigrant Visa Unit. See "Contact and Mailing Address" on the right-hand side of the page. Note: The failure to notify the Immigrant Visa Unit promptly will delay the processing of your application." The problem I'm having is that the address is not an email address... so I'm confused as to what I'm meant to do. Any ideas guys?

Thanks so much,

Amber and Tim

That is your letter of instruction (formerly known as Packet 3).

The readiness form to report you have gathered all the required documents is an online form found by looking in the right column of the web page. If you are on a phone or tablet, you won't see it. It defaults to a mobile version on my iPad and it is difficult to navigate to some important info. Find a PCif you aren't on one.

Read this guide and it will help you understand the London system. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

To clarify, the Readiness form is in the right column of your instruction page you quoted from. It is not on the linked page that lists the documents for interview. After reading your post again, it sounds like you may be looking on the document list page.

Fab. Okay, all good. I've filled out the DS-160 and the submitted the readiness form. Now I just need to wait for Embassy to receive my medical results (had medical today) as I already have police documents etc.

Thanks again,

Amber
