Illegal as a minor!

Hola!

I'm new posting but I've been reading the forum for a couple of months,

Now, I have a big question, I was in and out of the States when I was a minor, but unfortunately I overstayed my visa when I was there, (I was only 13!) but now that I'm looking at the paperwork I have to fill out, the form DS-156 asks if I've overstayed any previous visas... I want to answer "no" but I'm not sure if that's ok. I've been reading a lot, and any "unlawful" time under the age 18 doesn't count, but the forms ask all these specific questions I don't really know how to answer,

Any comments on my case?

I would definitely answer every single question truthfully. As soon as you lie about something, it causes suspicion as to what else you are lying about.

If your overstay was when you were a child, you had no control over that, and you can explain the situation on a separate sheet that you attach to the form.

But, my suggestion would definitely be to answer yes, you did overstay, but....... here are the circumstances as to why (and then write your explanation and attach it).
