Why were you checklisted for Marriage Certificate? You did not send your Urdu NIkkahnama with your civil documents or you did not send your NADRA marriage certificate. Please give more details about your checklist.

NVC e-mailed a checklist yesterday for missing marriage certificate after waiting about 58 days of submitting packet IV. I infact sent the original marraige certificate attested by Union Council of Punjab Pakistan along with a photocopy. I called NVC Customer service and was told that I needed the original Nikah Nama signed by my wife and I. He further said that once its recieved, they will process the case for completion and interview. Customer Service aslo told me that I have to wait another 60 days for a respons. Does anyone have a similar experience or aware of NVC not accepting an attested original marriage certificate? Alos, once you recieve a checklist does it put you all the way back in the line.

So, you did not include Urdu Nikahnama to NVC when you send your IV package with civil documents? If you did not send Urdu NIkahnama to NVC that's why customer rep. is telling you that your NIkah Nama is missing, it's needed as well.

Urdu NIkahnama is the one that you sign during the time of your nikkah and it is also needed by NVC not just Marriage Certificate from Union Council.

Both Urdu NIkahnama and Union Council Marriage certificate are needed by NVC.

Yes, checklist puts you back in the waiting line for Case Complete.

Thanks for your reply. Yes that's correct I did not send Urdu Nikahnama because I thought an attested union council marriage certificate would be sufficient. I have an Urdu and an English Nikahnama both signed at the time of ceremony. Should I send the English Nikahnama to NVC?

Send both to NVC.

With my IV packet civil documents for marriage certificate I sent the following:

1. Original Urdu Nikah Nama and a photocopy;

2. Original English translation of Urdu Nikah Nama and a photocopy;

3. Original NADRA marriage certificate and a photocopy.

Are you allset with your case, I did the same thing and still waiting for the answer after I sent Nadra certificate they told me they want NIKA NAMA .So I am wondering how your case is. Please update me.

I am waiting to hear from NVC about case complete. I did send all 3 things, Urdu Nikah Nama, English translation of Urdu Nikah Nama and NADRA marriage certificate. All originals and one photocopy of each, hopefully I will not get a checklist by blessing of Allah.

Walaikum Assalam, My wife sent the 3 items above by fedex today and so Insha Allah I will recieve them early next week and then forward it to NVC with the barcode. After that we will be anxiously waiting for case complete and interview date. Kindly keep us posted if you all hear back from NVC. Praying that it takes less than 60 days for NVC to respond

When did NVC scan your IV documents into their system? Or in other words when did they receive your Nikah Nama and all those documents?

Think on a brighter side that you are done with NVC and In Sha Allah you will get an interview in November

Congratulations Zamsha that is great news!!! You have waited patiently for all this time insha Allah November will come fast. I have the same question- When did you send your Nikah Nama? Trying to calculate how long it took after you submitted the checklist items to get your case completed. Thanks

Thank you so much guys. Okay I have sent my NIKA NAMA on July 23 fedex priority and NVC received on 24th. And they keep saying they received on 28th. So it took exactly 55 business days if you count from 28th of July.
