Question Regarding K-1 at NVC

Kinda Confused at this, checking the status at first it said "At NVC" on the 9th, then it switched to "In Transit" on the 10th for about 12 hours, then it was switched to "Ready" and this message appeared below it....... no way it made it to the consulate in that short of time in pretty much less than a day since it takes about 6 days when I mail things...... can anyone maybe shed some light on this?

When it says Ready it is because the embassy has it. You will probably get an email from the embassy soon.

If you are impatient then you should just email the embassy and ask them

Well that was my thinking as well, However I got my case number on the 9th and then it switched to "in transit" on the 10th, then today it says "ready" It usually takes mail 6 days to get to where she lives, how could it be so fast getting there? Makes no sense

Maybe it is possible they did get it that fast.

I would just email the embassy. And def go on the website and explore, see if you can schedule your interview.

No I didn't expedite but I just got that email and it looks like my fiance needs to fill that out since it asks for all of her information and such. But shouldn't I receive a letter or something and shouldn't she be sent a letter and instructions by mail from the embassy? All very confusing

Yeah it makes no sense and it's very confusing. I'm sure we should get a letter and additional packets and such. Thanks for your input

Yep.....I get nothing for our case. I'm just going by what NVC told me when I called.

Yep they provided me the case number, invoice number and date when they sent out information to the Italian consulate. But nothing updated in the status lookup site.

Well the page does say "Check will not recognize your case number until you are scheduled for a consular interview" And you appear to have an interview date. Maybe that is the difference.
