Are photographs required for minors?

Hello friends,

after paying my IV fee bill today I am trying to gather all of the documents that I will need to submit after I apply for the IV. I am wondering if I need to submit photographs from my step-daughter? I went to the ceac site and there is nothing specifying if minors need to submit pictures. She is turning 6 next week. Also, do I have to submit my birth certificate? From what I read, it says that if you are applying for IR5 and F4, then you need to submit a certified copy or original birth certificate. I will highly appreciate any information on this. Thanks :-)
