So I called the U.S. State Department today - thanx again for the number JP ;) and they told me that my fiance's visa finished processing there on December 20, 2006 WOOHOO!!! but the embassy in Amman hasn't been able to get in contact with my fiance to tell him to come pick it up. I TOLD THEM at the embassy that I am the main point of contact for any updates regarding the Visa because my fiance works with the U.S. military in Iraq - not the EASIEST guy to get ahold of. I have emailed them EVERY month so I KNOW they have my email address yet they haven't been able to get me?!?! #######??? I just hope he can still get it and they haven't trashed his case or something.

That Sucks.

 actually i think its a reason to celebrate. isnt that the reason we are all here?

I guess you are right. I was just agreeing with her about the events and I hope he gets the visa in time.

So when does he officially get the visa?

I still can't get the a-holes at the embassy to answer me...GRRRR!!! There is like a two hour window that you can call them and talk to a human being on the phone and I missed it...so I have to wait until Sunday to try again. I emailed them and told them what the SD told me....they just emailed me back and said my fiance had to get the new Iraq type "G" passport......How weird is that? No shite he has to have the type "G", I already KNEW that and that's NOT what I asked....I want to know WHY U FU*KERS NEVER CALLED US AND TOLD US HIS VISA WAS READY?!?!? Anyway, Fadi is heading to Jordan next week to try to get the Visa...that is of course if they allow him to enter the embassy. SUCH AN ADVENTURE :D
