Trophie you're right. In the case of an adoption, your ex, as well as his parents, give up all rights to the child. Laws vary by state, but they're similar.

What I was thinking of, is primary custody. In which Dutch can establish. And as a caution, even if you divorce Dutch, he can/ may establish primary custody, and hit you up for child support.

More than. He begged me to let the Swede do it in order to shirk his responsibilities, but I had my own reasons for not allowing him to become a step father, etc. It was rather bizarre, the whole thing - to plan a pregnancy with your wife, then threaten her and send her off to another man? You see, it is kind of obvious that he isn't right in the head.

oh - my wife cooks and cleans. my wife cooks so well that she makes Jadarina of St. Basil's resemble a grilled cheese sammich cook.

But I must subtract points for the cleaning, as she uses 'Chinese Method', which doesn't work inside a house made of USA-materials. Maybe if we morph Tiff's cleaning skills with my wife's cooking skills, we'd have the perfect wife... maybe.
