dog is stuck downstairs....she is afraid to walk up....she was doing so well and lately had been barking sitting there because she "cannot" walk up....sigh

I had a foster dog that didn't know how to walk up or down stairs when I got her. Took a bit, but I finally taught her how to do it. Is she just afraid or old and it hurts?

Tarkculus......

for the price of the trip, she can buy 3 more things at Disney Times Square.....

Of course, Tiff, like Juna. would like to camp out at Mall of America for about a week. And she's never even been there.....yet......

I had to carry my father and son dogs like that for years. They get old.....

1 See you can bring the wife too! You might need a second discover black card, or just get one with Tiff's name on it. There are hotels close by. Heck fly in if you're too lazy to drive. And there's the new outlet mall just a few miles south of there. Think of the thousands of dollars in savings you'll get!

You father must have been tiny to carry him up and down stairs. I always found a little push worked good for down.

oh.....

Gotta get to work....laterz......

 best punch line all morning

My current foster dog when I first got him, was afraid of drains during walking/running. He would either stop or gave the drain a wide berth. Now he is much much better.

I wonder if he fell into one at one time? A friend of mine's dog loved to fetch, he was a hunting dog and well trained. Throw it into the water, he'd get it. Throw it where he couldn't see where it landed and he'd search until he found it. Throw it off the dock and he'd run down the dock, leap into the water and get it. One time not thinking, he through it off the dock when the lake was froze. The dog hit the ice hard. He refused to jump off the dock for a long time after that, but eventually started again but only very cautiously, actually sliding off the dock into the water rather than leaping.

We don't know the history of dog. Maybe where he came from (Kentucky state) has no drain, so he was scared when he saw one for the first time. :P

It is approximately the time to gastrically inspect the delicious lunch (one of the two made by moi last night, whee man): mongo-sized hamburger buns adorned with fake butter (tub from Aldi Foods for 1 cent less than 1 buck) and squeeze-bottle peach jelly (from Dollar Tree for $1). I shall dine well imminently, slurrrrrrrrrrp man.

JadaRina of St. Basil's needs a good set of goatskin gloves, to be worn when not asleep.

No, I'm not kidding. Hard to find, this century, as the Chinese manufacturing companies are making the wrong type these days. Best found at an estate sale, really.

Have you thought about seeing a sex/regular therapist to talk through some of that? Some anxiety is normal at first, but you can't let the past control your life.

a 4 day session of tantric massage might also do the trick. guru needed, of course, and no, I'm not volunteering, as much as I'd like to.
