Not only because it is real, but because filming the real thing means you can't put all of this asinine camera-waving, panning too fast to see, zooming in and out, strobe lights in your eyes, stupid, stupid, stupid camera angles where they put the camera on the floor or on the ceiling and spin it around with 360's. God I HATE that.

I went on to a director's forum specifically to ask them why they did this. Their answer was that it "created tension". Well sure - it pisses me off. Enough so that we just cancelled our satellite service. There just aren't enough good shows like 48 hours to make it worth the monthly fee.

similar camera work with BattleStar Gallactica (sp?) - I couldn't watch it when it first came out,

I got some huge mongo gynormous tv, watched all episodes from NetFlix, without getting the motion sickness. I hates getting the motion sickness when I'm watching the TV.

it's not that difficult:

1. join freecycle.org and post

2. scour craigslist often

3. attend church garage sales (which means you must find them first, using the internets)

how is any of this difficult, beyond one's ability to use a keyboard ? I not get it, really.
