jonas came home yesterday evening with the sheet set i liked and a bouquet of roses :luv: and he said he will make some space in the master bedroom closet by next week. although he has said that for a few months now and still nothing, so we shall see...

there are some things i draw the line at buying second hand:

1. shoes

2. bath towels

3. sheets/bedding

just cant bring myself to do it.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Wholesale expensive, Bro D man.

Even better is to buy at MSs or resale, most absolutely definitely ma'am. I have continuously upgraded our sheet collection in this fashion, see ma'am, and have zero (as in Nueva York vs. Texas) store-bought sheets in the casa, no ma'am.

most 'asians' not want to buy anything used, just saying.

So I am now going to be living about 1-2 hours away from Columbus and be Assistant Directors at the College of Business/Centers for Excellence and Leadership. Extremely excited since there is a huge potential for growth and many ways my job (if done well) can get me places.

YAY!!!

CONGRATS! :)

I refuse, like Kitty, to buy used sheets or bath towels. New ones are pretty cheap and frankly I'm not that picky about the thread count in my sheets. Towels are things I like to spend decent money on 1/2 the time (the other half are regulated to my hair.)

I"d like to have enough female friends to go to a male stripper venue. I don't think most of my current friends would be up for it.

for me, i draw the line at socks and underwear. everything else I'll consider to purchase used.

for what's her face, must be new, but she discovered 'labels' and 'vintage' after we separated, is too late for that type o shopping fun.

These weekly lists fill me with anxiety as I wonder where you are putting all this stuff - I have images of towers of GS sheets and many boxes of drinking straws piled up around the house.

That's what I've been wondering for about a year now!

Every week/weekend he's buying something at GS... He has to have a mansion to have a room for all these stuff :P

Much to his denial, I don't see how you could keep buying stuff and a house not look like this:

would never buy socks or underwear either. The fact that those are ever available for purchase "used" absolutely grosses me out. There are plenty of cheap "new" underwear out there. Heck department stores regularly have clearance merchandise that is 70% off for brand new. Making a note to myself to buy new packages when on deep discounted sales and distribute them to various second hand stores or charities.
