We are shopping for new sheets and jonas doesnt like any of them. None. So i joke that he is the guy, men arent supposed to care about home decor, and that maybe we should find a house with a man cave that he can decorate to his hearts content and leave me the bedroom. He says in this hurt tone that he doesnt want to have just one room in the house, shouldnt we be sharing the house? This, coming from the man who hasnt made space for me in the master bedroom closet since i got here, so i end up using the smaller closet in the spare bedroom with some of my clothes still in suitcases. You know what he stores in the master closet? His guitars, keyboard and boxes of old concert tshirts. Yep. And i get told i have to share, ok.

Gosh, I go into walmart and just pick a set of sheets that isn't too soft. I think I'd be a little worried if someone couldn't settle on some sheets, they are sheets!

My clothes are actually not in our master, but that was my choice, we have a big built in unit in the hallway and I use a closet in the other room. I think we will need a wardrobe in our master.

Too bad! You shoulda married a guy with 2 closets! Now suffer!

I had a nice walk in closet with a sky light in the old house....

Now just 2 closets in my bedroom.....

Back from visiting the new BJ's. I like the store, hate the layout and the parking lot design.....

So finally I can update everyone:

back when the divorce was going thru I told Rutgers I was not going to move to NJ - a lot of reasons for that but main one - the relocation was something I could not afford and realized I did not want to do especially since it seemed that even before I started they have been giving me conflicting information and called me to apologize and then I could not find an apartment that did not cost arm and a leg....anyways point being....I decided to not move and stay in OH.

Right around the same time (about a day later) I got a call from a University nearby for interview. I had it and they said that this position was to be filled by someone internal but that they wanted me for another position that had not yet been posted or even put together and that i would need to wait it out as the HR process is lengthy. I said ok. They seemed to think the job would be starting in September....turns out...until today....things have been in process, I had informal interviews and then formal interviews and today finally got an email that I got the job !

They hope to have me started in two weeks which I suppose is ok since I had only recently moved and while I might have no furniture there is a lot of cleaning to be done....don't people clean a place before they move out ???? YUCK !

So I am now going to be living about 1-2 hours away from Columbus and be Assistant Directors at the College of Business/Centers for Excellence and Leadership. Extremely excited since there is a huge potential for growth and many ways my job (if done well) can get me places.

*fingers crossed" everything goes well.

Outstanding!

Congratulations!

there is a small hispanic market just across the street. has very awful produce section, full of half rotting vegetables and fruit, but very cheap. i never shop there unless i'm all out of something and am desperate.

i have not found an indian market near us worth visiting. there is one small mom and pop store near my office but it is more of a convenience store, with some token indian snacks, and that's about it. we have found generic 'asian' markets and 'international' markets that stock indian produce and products (amongst many many many other ethnicities), but otherwise, it's a long drive for us. i still have not been able to find curry leaves. i want to make cereal prawns and it just can't be done without curry leaves!

google maps works differently in the USA.

Just saying.
