Oh I've got allergies bad right now and so does my daughter. We both keep getting red blotches on our faces, runny noses, swollen eyes, etc. I think it might be the timothy hay for the guinea pigs. We are going to try orchard grass.

Oh that sucks. Do you use wood shavings in the cage or the fluff stuff.

We use a piece of flannel and clean the poop off and then wash it every couple of days.

Feeling a bit 'off' today. Got through some emotional stuff earlier in the week, resembling catharsis (which can be useful) , had a echat with the wife this morning (not useful, really) and we seem determined still to file for divorce on the 1st. Seriously, mostly ok today, sitting on campus and doing some business/remote work - I don't wanna go home or to any of my garden spaces today.... Nice distractions on campus (but that's not the point, aye?)

I dunno - in the end, after 8 years of carrying her in my heart, it's going to be a nasty shock if/when the divorce is finalized (in Texas, that's 90 days after filing if uncontested)...

Completely understood, Bro D. It ain't easy or fun, no man.

Good things end, too.

Back to work, ya taco sucking lazlar......whadaya think the people are gonna call YOU so they can ask you to sell them extended warranties on a car they no longer own?

Just exceeded quota again, so there man.

I got my DL :) :) I can drive drive drive driiiiiveeee

Oj tak!!!!!!!

Left my futons out on the balcony to air before I went to work. There were several downpours, so I have come home to wet soggy futons. Might check in to a hotel.

That'll teach ya to air a futon.....

lol.....

Took hubs to see the house on Thursday. He really liked it. It's funny that his concerns aren't necessarily mine but that we both want relatively the same thing eventually. One day we'd like to redo the kitchen but fixing up the back yard and getting rid of the drop ceiling are priorities. I'd leave the ceiling too if it was decent, but it's not. I'd like to finish the ceiling off and he thinks it's fine left not done. I think that it improves the heating, cooling and noise values. Thoughts?

He wants to wire the whole house for internet while I'm looking at furniture and a washer and dryer.

We're getting a good rate with our loan. They had originally quoted higher and we would have been getting money back, but since we plan on living there for so long, it makes way more sense to do a lower rate since the likelihood being able to refinance later is slim and being in a place for 20 years vs 2 makes a major difference in that payment.

I'd like to get a bike so I can bike to work and am wondering if I should wait another year to go to school so we can get another car... it's about a half hour drive to the school I want to attend.
Oh so funniest part of hubs at the house, in the basement he sticks his arms out, spins in a circle and says "This is mine. This will be a man cave." Rofl

Opinion. (Not advice).

Drop ceilings not good for residential abodes.

Wired for internet? My house is wired for internet, but wireless equipment reigns.

Delay school, it's ok....(Since it's never too late for an education). But I wouldn't, I'd go post haste.

We game. We need a hardline for the machines. No way in heck I'm playing BF4 with wireless. LOL!! We have wireless anyhow for the phones and tablets.

neither of us like the drop ceiling but after removal he thinks we should leave it open and not finish the ceiling. This is the basement btw...

$$ and vehicle are issue for school atm.

But I'll still apply now, because projected start date would be Jan 2015 anyhow. Hopefully I can get student loan stuff in order by then. I will look into transit as well vs driving.

OH and we have to buy a washer and dryer because the house doesn't come with one. I think I want to buy a pantry as well since there isn't one, but whenever we redo the main level, we'll put one in.

maybe in Dec we'll get a couch. LOL
