After off-logging last night, went outside and encountered the skunk in little park across the street. It was digging for grubs or whatever, hungry man.

Got to casa and resolved to set skunk-trap, capture man.

Did so; added apple slices and bread with peanut butter on it, ingest man.

Took trap across to park; threw in goodies, where's my tip man.

Peanut-buttered bread didn't quite reach the trigger mechanism of trap, soft toss man.

Turned to return to casa. Turned back; skunk was less than Many yards from trap, hi man.

Hopes soared, great white hunter man.

However, skunk reversed course and went to back of park, cruel hoax man.

Went out with flashlight later; bread gone, trap not sprung, autumn man.

Took unsuccessful nap, no zzz man.

Went out still later; added peanut-brittle bar and additional slice of bread, smorgasbord man.

Informed nearly-asleep Mini-B. of progress, wee near-zzz man.

Checked later; no obvious action revealed by dim flashlight, dark night man.

1 Did you make Tiff coffee, in my family they think coffee is good for pregnant women. But then they use any excuse to drink coffee.

2 I was born this way, no one told me to come here. But I have noticed the cold winters keeps the riff raff down. It is noted the fraction of fooks in Minnesota can't even be noted alongside the number of fooks in NYC.
