you know...if i was to take one dog, it would suffer....they are a pack and dividing them up is just bad. Debbie the poms I could see being fine with it since she is essentially my dog but then it comes down to....would I be able to take care of her as needed ? She would be lonely.

Jada! Good to see you here! :)

Are you in NJ now?

Living at the campus or something?

Working at the Uni?

I hope everything's fine over there :)

oh yay. God when they were leaving I cried for her too...I was going to let her sleep outside and she kept scratching the door.....it is heartbreaking ! If they left her here I think I would not be able to not take her.

That's so sad :(

Ok now I need to figure out what to make for supper. I can do something and not worry about making it any hotter in the house.

My mother used to make fruit salad on days like that when I was a kid. A canned fruit cocktail, and some whipping cream mixed up together and that was dinner. No burners or over used to heat up the house. Or you could always grill something up outside, keeping the heat out of the house. But I thought you got the AC fixed?

It is fixed now. I meant I don't have to worry about the heat now. Kids didn't want buggers and I didn't have time to really thaw anything.

Send the kids to go walk the road and see what they can scrape up for dinner?

But I thought that was the hillbilly's job?

I already did! I'm going to make chicken fried steak. Mash potatoes, green beans and I'm even going to make corn bread.
