They sell these little clip things that go under the tanks and you put a sponge in to prevent this issue.

Well we got both warm and cold holding tanks, but they're in a cold cellar. So this thing you showed is a way to beat it, unless we hooked up the warm water to it.

Honestly, after living off and on in the Philippines and flushing with a bucket - this seemed like the ideal solution to me. The tub faucet is right within reach to fill up a pitcher for flushing. But the wife said she wanted a new toilet and when she says something to me like that in the tone she used, it is installed in under an hour. This one has a really tight seal so it is going to cut way down on the water flow.
