I could see someone wanting to save a cam girl that was forced into or some such thing (by paying for it they are probably contributing to the issue), but it sounds like this was just a career choice on her part.

On a personal rant my daughter wants to spend Xmas day in Canada because it's been 4 years since she's woken up in HER bed. Apparently her bed at my house doesn't count. While I get how she feels, I've been through it, it's my Christmas year and I think I should force the issue. I also think she should be coming down more of the time but my darn job just doesn't pay for all that. I'm worried about losing my job to take off that Xmas time too, even though I'd like to start schooling (even more of a reason to need a fuel efficient car as the school is in downtown Denver and not close to (new I hope) home. I'm lost at what to do.... I think she just needs to spend more time here.

I think you should force the visit. You start giving up time here and there and the next thing you know she doesn't want to come anymore. You may want to start keeping your work schedule, although at the moment she is too young to stay home herself. I agree she needs to visit more often. I'm a strong believer that till she is 18 she doesn't make the choice (obviously within reason).

Cam girl as an adult, this was a choice. Their relationship left the webcam site. They're on FB and who knows what else. Guy just got it into his head he can have a younger woman and live a simple life by finding a filipina, and when he can pull a pension, leave his wife and move there. While a Filipino could easily live on 500 Canadian a month, few westerners would find that a comfortable life. Apparently his cam girl doesn't because she's living the high life for the past couple years. He claimed to have cut her off from the money now, so she went back to working the web cam site. No doubt looking for her next good mark, but she's got one fine house and chunk of property off this one and the well is starting to run dry.
