I sung victory to soon but here is my dilemma.

I filed an AOS for wife and step son. Did them on the same package when I filed. I got 4 msc numbers 2 for eap and and 2 for I 485 . Well I got both Employment cards and when I got today mail. My stepson is the only aos card that arrived. He is 3 years old. But wife still says acceptance since March 10. I assumed I would get both since everything was done done at the same time. Fingerprints. And all

Did you check uscis for the tracking numbers? See if they provided two

Yes I have all 4 numbers all 3 are done except the wife aos card

Call the uscis customer care number

I have seen cases before where the cards do not come at the sane time generally a week or 2 time diff .

but just call them to verify everything.

Children don't need Biometrics and/or interview, Adults need Biometrics and/or interview. It might be her background check is not ready yet or an interview is waiting for a spot at local USCIS center.
